Nevada offers online registration

To register to vote online in Nevada, you must:

  • Be a resident of one of either Clark, Churchill, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lyon, Pershing, or Washoe counties now and at the time of the next election
  • Have a current, valid driver's license or state identification card issued by the Nevada DMV.
  • Be a citizen of the United States.
  • Be 18 or older at the time of the next election

You must supply a Nevada Driver's License Number if you have been issued one. If you do not have a Driver's License Number, you must supply at least the last four digits of your Social Security Number. If you do not have a Social Security Number, please contact your County Clerk/Registrar to be assigned a unique identifier.

Additional Information

You must register with a party if you want to take part in that party's primary election, caucus, or convention. If you register with a minor political party, or as a Nonpartisan you will receive a Nonpartisan Ballot for the Primary Election.

Nevada does not ask you to include your race or ethnicity in order to vote -- choosing it here is completely optional.
