Colorado offers online registration

To register to vote online in Colorado, you must:

  • Have a Colorado Driver's License or ID card issued by the Colorado Department of Revenue
  • Be 18 or older at the time of the next election
  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be a Colorado resident and have lived in your current precinct for at least 30 days before the election
  • Not be serving a sentence (including parole) for a felony conviction

Your completed voter registration form must contain your state issued driver's license number or identification number. If you do not have a driver's license or state issued identification, you must include the last four digits of your social security number. If you do not have a driver's license or a state issued identification or a social security number, please write "NONE" on the form. A unique identifying number will be assigned by the State.

Additional Information

You must register with a party if you want to take part in that party's primary election, caucus, or convention.

Colorado does not ask you to include your race or ethnicity in order to vote -- choosing it here is completely optional.
